Information about Beef Mince.
When making Beef Mince recipes at home you want to taste the flavour of the beef with no lumps & not have fat running across the plate in your meals. We have created our fine ground minced Beef to be tasty with a lower fat content & no lumps. We make our mince from Chuck Steak & some of the Flank to add a little fat giving it more flavour. Packed as 500 grams for convenience at home & ease of frozen storage.
Our Premium Beef Mince is ideal for creating great tasting meals at home, the flavour & lower fat content make your meals eat better so you can taste the added ingredients & enjoy the natural flavour of the beef. The beef we use is all Grass Fed to make our mince, sourced locally in Ireland & grazed most of the year giving its unique flavour.
How is our Lean Beef Mince made?
Our expert butchers select out whole Chuck Steak, primal cuts & some whole Lean Flanks, these are then trimmed (to remove unwanted gristle) before grinding. The Chuck, Flank & Brisket is mixed before the first coarse grind to balance the taste, the second grind of the meat is through a “Fine Plate” on the mincer to give its finished texture.
We choose cuts of beef from the Forequarter or Shoulder to make our Beef Mince because they are more “Fibrous” & breakdown to become more tender during cooking. The coarse meat cuts always have more flavour as they are hard working muscles with a high protein content. The flavour of the mince is a good balance between a bland meaty taste & the overwhelming ( more common ) fatty experience.
The Beef cuts used in our Premium Mince is the same as our Beef Brisket Burgers, the combination of cuts brings great flavour to your recipes.
We make all our Minced Meat products using the same cuts from the shoulder because it always gives the right results. Why not try our healthy option Lean Pork Mince for meatballs, or to make smash breakfast patties, you will taste the difference.
Those people that are looking to follow a healthy eating plan can buy this mince safe in the knowledge that this will be perfect to help them achieve weight loss goals. The natural vitamins, minerals & high protein content found in our good quality beef is an essential part of any good diet, but very important when feeding the family.
The easy-open 500 gram packs of Minced Beef are ideal to make 2-3 portions for any good slimming recipes.
How do we pack our Beef Mince?
Our Premium Beef Mince is produced & packed within 5 minutes to minimise the exposure for drying out & to maximise the shelf life keeping all the natural flavour n’ moisture within the meat. The vacuum sealed recyclable pouches protect your meat whilst they are delivered to your door, they will stop flavours from any other foods in your fridge getting into your meat.
Using recyclable pouches helps to reduce our carbon footprint, through our customers recycling responsibly at home or with our wholesale customers in restaurants & supermarkets.
