Sherwood Gluten Free Meatballs are made from our finest Grass-Fed Irish Beef, they have a delicious flavour from a simple recipe. Our expert butchers have blended a small amount of fat with our famous briskets to give a perfect combination of flavour & texture. This secret blend makes sure they stay moist during your cook & the flavour is more natural so you can let the added ingredients make them really “PoP”.

Gluten Free Meatballs:

The Gluten Free meatballs are 28-grams each & 12 to a tray that is an ideal family-sized pack when shopping online for tasty products that someone with Coeliac Disease has at home. These are a popular addition to our basket for our online customers as their children love them & they are great with spaghetti or in meatball casseroles. These are quick & easy to cook for affordable mid-week meals.

We have chosen the particular mix of beef cuts & ingredients to keep them simple like our Gluten Free Brisket Burgers. The texture of the Brisket combined with the flavour & white fat of the flanks gives a perfect balance to a tasty meatball. The medium grind we use gives a great texture with a good chewing experience. This is very important especially for the children who are particular in what they eat.

When most minced products are made, they tend to be a little stringy when you break them apart to check the quality, we have tried to keep our Gluten-free Meatballs natural, so they come apart like our natural Beef Mince. The benefit of having a natural flavour to a meat product is that the flavours you choose to add should bring out the meat flavour & not disguise the overly fat content or poor quality of the meat. With this in mind, we only use our Irish Beef in ours.

The colour of most Burgers & Meatballs are bright Red, which looks very appetising in the window or on social media, but this is mainly due to the number of Nitrates put into the recipe. We have limited what we add; whilst the presentation is important to us, the health & eating experience is more important to our customers.

Sherwood Gluten-Free Meatballs are a perfect balance of lean meat & fat, offering something that doesn’t swim in grease when pink in the middle or eat like cardboard when cooked well done. Buying our Gluten Free Meatballs is great value for money because the portions are a good size giving you more meat for your money. The packaging is ideal for storing in the freezer at home, the meat is protected whilst stored. To use these, simply remove from the freezer & place into the fridge to thaw slowly. Before cooking, remove from the fridge & leave out for 30 mins to let the chill out of the meat because it will let them cook more evenly throughout.

We use clear recyclable purpose-made trays to keep the Skinny Meatballs separated & in shape. Using recyclable trays helps to reduce our carbon footprint through our customers recycling responsibly. Making the Meatballs & packaging them immediately extends the shelf life & lets the seasoning be absorbed by the beef. This process creates a better product for you when cooking at home.

The clear trays protect your Meatballs from freezer burn, other flavours from food in your fridge, & from drying out when bringing to room temperature before cooking.

Sherwood Irish Grass-Fed beef is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals & protein that helps promote energy levels. Our Irish Grass-Fed beef enjoys some of the best green pastures that Ireland has to offer, with the higher than average rainfall there is never a shortage of lush grass for them to enjoy. The welfare of all the cattle is very important not only to the livestock but to the results it brings to the table.

All our beef is fully traceable through modern technology with animals now having virtual passports to ensure they are monitored from farm to fork. All our production facilities are BRC Approved & we are always using local herds for sustainability & continuing to support local farmers.
