The Lollipops are easy to cook at home & are excellent value for money, a great cut of chicken to make delicious meals quickly & easily. The generous Lollipops are approx 120 grams with the skin on, perfect to store in the freezer for handy meals. Our Grade A quality chicken has NO Added Water for a better texture & taste.
What are Drumstick Chicken Lollipops?
These Chicken Lollipops are made from the Chicken Drumsticks. They are skin on with 1 bone through the middle with a small portion of the bone exposed at the end.
The meat in the Chicken Drumstick Lollipops is darker & more coarse. It has a stronger flavour & is very juicy. Chicken Lollipops may not look like much when they are raw, but, when cooked & glazed…. They are sooo good! We created our Meaty Drumstick Lollipops so that you can literally “Suck The Bone Clean”.
We also make Chicken Wing Lollipops created from the first section of the Chicken Wing as an alternative for a more snackable bite.

How do we make our Chicken Lollipops?
Once the whole birds are chilled down to 1-2°c, the Legs are “Oyster Cut” from the main carcase. The Chicken Legs are 2 parts, The Thigh & the Drumstick. The Chicken Drumsticks are separated from the Thighs through the soft cartilage in the joint, this is done so that no bone splinters are created.
The next stage for the Drumsticks is to release the meat from around the leg end of the bone. This is simply done with a sharp knife “Cutting in a circle” 20 mm from the end. The next part is to run the knife down the bone approx 4 cm, creating the familiar “Meat Handle” with a large bulb of meat at the hip end. The skin & sinews at the foot end are pulled off the bone making the Lollipops approx 120 grams each.
How do we pack our Drumstick Chicken Lollipops?
Keeping our Chicken fresh / frozen & in perfect condition is why we pack multiple Drumstick Chicken Lollipops in Clear Recyclable Pouches.
Once the Drumstick Lollipops have been made, they are packed within a few minutes to reduce their natural moisture loss. The pieces are placed into the Recyclable Clear Pouches, the air is vacuumed from the pouch & heat sealed, the fresh Chicken Drumstick Lollipops are now perfectly sealed & protected. A label is placed on the underside with Full Traceability & a use by date.
As soon as the packs of Chicken are placed into recyclable boxes, on pallets, they are then “Blast Frozen” to -18°c over a few hours.
The process from farm to fork is all done under the strictest rules & clean practises, with all premises being BRCGS / IFS approved. There are on site health officials monitoring the slaughter, cutting & packing stages ensuring safe products are made. In production, all the air is chilled & filtered, all the staff wear clean fully protective clothing, with a production room deep clean at the end every day.
Cutting & packing our Chicken using the highest standards for production & hygiene ensures the safest meat with the best flavour. The benefit of our production methods is that your Chicken drumstick Lollipops have a 2 year shelf life when stored at -18°c. How to cook Drumstick Chicken Lollipops.
Lollipops are mainly cooked on the Barbecue or under the grill, becoming popular to cook in an Air Fryer due to rising energy costs & convenience. These are best cooked using a purpose built rack to get an even cook through the meat & make that delicious crispy skin. Ready Made Hanger for cooking Drumstick Chicken Lollipops.
