This Barbecue Meat Box has meat cuts inside that are perfect for Low and Slow Cooking or Hot & Fast steaks, you will not find these cuts in your local supermarkets because they don’t understand what is needed & how to cut the meat correctly.
Our beef is from Irish Grass-fed cattle found on the rich pastures with excellent welfare, that are graded before any production. The pork from Belgium is a low cholesterol pig that is from some of their finest farms, & it has great meat to fat ratio to hit that sweet spot for great flavour.
All our production facilities are BRCGS Approved & we are always using local herds to support farmers who can maintain sustainable herds, with a lower carbon footprint from lower vehicle emissions.
What to expect inside your Expert BBQ Meat Box?
Brisket is everyone’s favourite; so, we have included our Irish Grass-Fed Packer Brisket that has enough fat on the outside to keep the keep moist during the cook, has all the inside decal fat removed from the flat of the brisket. This is not like the grain-fed beef with a higher fat content due to being fed on grain, not grass, this will need spritzed more during the cook.
Our Jacobs Ladders 3 Bone; this is one of the first pieces we created for the BBQ, it is cut high up from the rib cage with a generous single layer of fibrous meat on it. The single layer of meat is important, as this will then cook at one temperature & have a more consistent cook throughout. When you have cooked these, you want to slice them into single bones & see the fabulous “smoke ring” on those juicy beef ribs.
The Sherwood Beef Tomahawk is again from our Irish Grass Fed Cattle & is one of those delicious steaks that are great theatre when being cooked & especially when presented to guests. The Bone in Steak has great texture & cooks perfectly on the Barbecue, the long single bone attached to the eye of the meat gives the meat that on the bone flavour, & looks great when slicing. Impress your family & friends with one of these.
Sherwood Meaty Baby Back Ribs of Pork are one of our more famous items in the box; our Pietrain pork gives them excellent flavour & the generous layer of meat on them allows you to get a Smokey meaty rib that you only see on a St Louis Style Pork Rib. Our ribs are superb finished in a sweet sticky glaze after 5/6 hours on the BBQ, at around 750 grams you will not be disappointed.
Now who doesn’t love Pulled Pork? This is delicious as sliders or having as a side, the soft tender meat that is so tasty & very moreish, it will be something that you will want to keep in the freezer ready cooked. For this we have added our Pork Boston Butt into this box as a matter of course, no expert Barbecuers would want their box without one.
These are cut from the shoulder & the best, most flavoursome meat is in this section, that suits low and slow cooking perfectly. This is on the bone just like the one from America.
Pork chops have been a favourite comfort food for ages, & we have the perfect Pork Chop to share! This is the “Tomapork” with two bones in it & cut in a similar way to the Beef Tomahawk. We have taken the whole rack of pork, French trimmed it, then cut these Tomaporks into pairs. This gives you the option to cut into singles or stuff the piece, or you could Butterfly these when searing at the end of your cook.
The flavour of the sirloin of pork on the bone is fantastic, one to share & enjoy.

All our meats are vacuum-sealed within minutes of cutting, this will ensure that the products are in perfect condition when delivered to your home or holiday destination. All our production facilities are temperature controlled clean rooms; this gives the products longer shelf life, & ultimately a better product in the bag.
We only use recyclable plastic packaging for all our products as we are trying to reduce our carbon footprint with our customers recycling responsibly. The insulated packaging including the Slow Thaw Gel Packs can be reused or split & safely poured down the sink. The polystyrene is made from 20% recycled materials, & the shredded carboard can also be placed in the recycle bin at home. #carbonfootprint
