All the items in the Grilling Meat Box are fully prepared by our expert butchers to ensure that you get ready to cook meat cut vacuum-sealed from the moment they are cut. The Beef in the Grilling Meat Box is all Grass Fed in the rich pastures of Ireland & carefully selected before any cutting begins. The unique flavour of the Grass Fed Beef is stronger than that of Grain Fed Beef & gives excellent results, especially when grilled.
All our Beef Steaks are aged for 21 days before cutting to give a perfect steak at home every time. The process of ageing beef or any meat only helps to enhance the flavour & soften the texture. The natural enzymes found in meat helps to breakdown the natural fibre of the meat to become more tender because it unlocks the flavour to let the juices flow naturally.
Beef cuts inside your Grilling Meat Box:
The Sherwood signature Brisket Burgers are only made from our best beef briskets with our simple tasty gluten-free recipe. At 7 oz or 200-grams each burger, these are a good-sized tasty beef burger that will satisfy most appetites! The natural flavour will allow you to enjoy adding your toppings for extra flavour, rather than trying to compensate for the overly fat commercial-style burger. These twin pack brisket burgers (400-grams per twin pack) will be moist when cooked well done, & not be swimming in fat when pink in the middle.
Remember to press any burger down in the middle with your thumb before any cooking, this stops burgers from rising in the middle & giving an uneven cook.
The Grass Fed Beef Fillet Steaks are the most tender steaks in your box, the smooth consistent texture is superb when adding a knob of garlic butter on top. These are 200-grams each & take only a few minutes each side to cook, they are easy to chew & soft on the palate. These aged steaks are an ideal portion size, & not to small that they dry out during grilling. Remember to turn the steaks regularly & don’t let them burn on one side.
When ready, please ensure you let them rest on a wooden board to relax the meat & let the steaks soak up their natural juices.

All our Pork is from low cholesterol muscular Pigs from the Flanders area in Belgium, these are Pietrain Pigs with a great meat to fat ratio & the best flavour. We cut our meats from selected sides of Pork that suit the particular cuts; fattier meat when cutting our legendary ribs, leaner meat when cutting certain steaks or shoulder for sausages. Our Pork has always given great results, even on the Barbecue competition circuit!
Our 2 Bone Pork Tomahawk is a popular item with our online grilling family. we included this because it is a great sharing bone in steak but, also versatile & a good sized steak. As the name suggests is the same as the Beef Tomahawk, with plenty of thick loin meat on the bones. This piece of Pork is easy to cook on the grill, it is very good when “butterflied” to be opened up to get the Smokey flavour of the Barbecue into the meat. These steaks are approximately 850-grams each & don’t shrink much during the cook.
When ready, please keep together covered on a wooden board for 10 minutes before serving.

We use the same method & meat cuts, only the recipe has been changed for a more natural Porky style flavour. There are no gristle’s or lumps, the mild taste makes them perfect in their natural skins to create the snap & easy slicing. There are 6 per pack 75-grams each 450-grams per pack.

A quick & easy straightforward cook under the grill or on the Barbecue for a little added Smokey flavour. The meat has no added water to ruin the natural texture of the meat, just enjoy the taste. There are 3 skewers per pack at 165-grams each approximately 500-grams.

Under these temperatures, we cut & package our meat cuts within a few minutes to make sure we can deliver the freshest, juiciest steaks, brisket burgers, sausages or skewers possible. This gives your meat a longer shelf life with more of that “just cut flavour”.
The process of vacuum sealing sucks all the natural moisture of the meat back into the meat to keep it moist & further enhance the flavour. The recyclable packaging holds the steaks gently in their shape, & keeps the chicken together to hold its moisture in.
All our production facilities are BRCGS Approved & we are always using local herds for sustainable quality supply of meat from local farms with long term relationships with farmers who select for our needs.
We are always looking to find other methods of packaging that is cheaper & more Eco-friendly, so we can then help improve the environment moving towards a greener future. We are now using a thinner, stronger packaging that is also recyclable which helps us to reduce our Carbon Footprint by using less plastic. As our customers recycle their food packaging more by making sure that it is placed onto the appropriate recycling collection bin.
Our Greener Policy is that we strive to become more Carbon Neutral & always aim to encourage our customers to complete the recycling process with our packaging.
