This Beef Steak is cut from the end of the Rump as a whole piece with the outer fat left on one side. The Tri Tip weighs approximately 1.4kg each & offers good portions per piece for a Restaurant Steak. The Tri Tip Steak is also referred to as a Santa Maria Steak, a Bottom Sirloin Steak or if the the outer fat is removed (PAD), they are called Rump Tails. These are a good meaty piece of Beef with some marbling, they are cut from our Irish Grass Fed cattle.
