Where is our Click and Collect Meat Shop located?

Our Online Click and Collect Meat Shop is located behind Gatwick Airport in leafy West Sussex. We are in a newly built premises on a small farm industrial complex on the Charlwood Road in the suburbs of Crawley. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there is little traffic at our location, making easy access by road.

Important: please use the 2 links on the Click & Collect page to find us as the postcode is generic for our area & will lead you to the wrong location. We are unable to change this as Crawley council will not give a new postcode to the businesses on our industrial complex.

What days & hours do we open our Click and Collect Meat Shop?

Our Click and Collect Meat Shop is open 5 days a week from 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Shop collection times:

Monday – Friday:  8.00am – 5.30pm (Please note that we close sharp at 5.30pm, late arrival will mean collection available on next working day)

Is there Parking available when I collect my meat order?

There are plenty of  Free Parking spaces; as you drive through the gate, please park on the left. We are located in the building opposite, the collection point is round to the right of the building, 25 meters along with the counter on your left.

Can I order same day Click and Collect Meat?

You can order Same Day Click and Collect: you can pick up your order within 30 minutes of checkout. We will have your meat order waiting, so you can grab & go saving you time when shopping.

Will my meat order be fresh or frozen?

All your meats are frozen at our production & stored frozen at our distribution center. We keep all products frozen as this gives them a shelf life of up to 2 years at -18°c. We supply only frozen options currently, we are looking to have a chilled option in the future.

How will my order be packed?

We are doing everything possible to reduce our Carbon Footprint & become the “Greenest Online Butcher”. All our Click and Collect meat Orders are placed in recyclable strong paper shopping bags. These are then easily recycled at home helping Sherwood Foods towards our greener goal ♻.  Please see information about all our online packaging.

What happens if I don’t collect my Meat Order?

We understand that things happen & you might not make your chosen date & time slot for your meat collection. If we are not contacted we will store your order for 7 days past your collection date, after this we will place all items back into stock. You will be refunded less our payment & handling fees of £10.00.

Can I buy extra meats when I collect my order?

When you arrive to collect your meat you can order extra meats at the counter. We carry an extensive stock & an online order can be made & paid for at the counter online.

Can I cancel an Online Click and Collect order? 

We allow customers to cancel their orders as we understand that events, dinner dates etc get cancelled & you no longer require the meats. We do charge for the payment fees we incur & an admin / handling fee: Total of £5.00.

What are the latest & earliest times to order for a same day Click and Collect meat Order?

We close at 5.30pm SHARP & the cut off time for Same Day Click and Collect is 5.30pm. The earliest you can collect an order is 8.00am. Anything outside these hours would be subject to special arrangements, but we are not open 24hrs for collections.

What is the minimum order value to get an Online Click and Collect Order?

We have set a minimum order value for click and collect of £10.00 as we are charged payment fees. This is a small amount & is less than 99% of our customers wish to purchase.

Can I order Wholesale Click and Collect Meat?

There is no limit on what you can order online for Click and Click Meat Wholesale. If we have it in our UK distribution centre, it will be in stock on the website, you can order for same day collection. Those customers who wish to place very large orders, please contact customer services via email or phone:

Returns & Refunds for Sherwood Foods Ltd

Any orders placed with Sherwood Foods will be processed & shipped on the next available working day for delivery (except Friday unless for Saturday delivery). We are unable to fully guarantee that your order will arrive next day as we use 3rd party couriers & unforeseen circumstances  may occur (breakdowns, accidents, misrouted, staff shortages etc), you will need to have a safe place or neighbour to leave your parcel(s) with the following day.

If a customer wishes to cancel an order, they need to call to customers services helpline (8am-6pm Mon-Sat) before the next day cut off time (2pm ).  If the order has already been shipped out for delivery, we are unable to cancel. We can only switch delivery days provided that the order has not been shipped & it falls within the terms of your agreed postage costs.As all our goods are perishable, we are unable to accept returns for health & hygiene reasons (no goods that are unfit for human consumption are allowed to the premises).

The customer is liable for the card payment costs charged to Sherwood Foods for any orders cancelled.

Goods that have been damaged in transit must have photographic evidence to show this as we will need this for claims from the courier companies. A call to customer services to inform us immediately of the issue is needed, we cannot process claims that are made 24 hours or more after the delivery. We will refund the full cost of the goods & delivery charges once satisfied that this is not the fault of the customer.

Refunds are normally completed within 14 days of the agreement to refund the customer; the average wait is 7 days. The funds are returned back to the same method of the original payment made by the customer.
